AI agents for every department, one workflow at a time.

Agents are not a department of their own. They live inside marketing, sales, service, operations, finance, HR, legal, IT and procurement, doing the repetitive, document-heavy, communication-heavy work that keeps skilled people from their actual jobs. These pages show what that looks like in practice.

01

Why by department

The best first agent is rarely the most impressive one. It is the one a process owner will fight for, because it removes work they hate.

Every function has a handful of processes with the same profile: high volume, unstructured inputs (emails, PDFs, tickets, calls), a few clear rules with judgement in the middle, and a person who already checks the result. That is where agents earn trust and pay for themselves.

Each solution page describes five or six such workflows, walks through one of them step by step including where a human approves, names the guardrails that matter in that function, and explains how we start. Read the page for your department, then talk to us about which of those workflows fits your systems and your team.

Departments

AI agents for marketing

Content pipelines with editorial approval, automated campaign reporting, search and AI-answer research, and clean lead hand-offs to sales.

AI agents for sales

Inbound qualification, account research, CRM updates from calls and emails, quote and tender drafting, and compliant outreach that reps approve before it leaves.

AI agents for customer service

Ticket triage, agent assist with sources, automated resolution for defined categories and a clean hand-over to people when confidence drops.

AI agents for operations & supply chain

Order intake from email and PDF into the ERP, document processing, supplier follow-ups and exception handling, with people deciding on every deviation.

AI agents for finance & controlling

Accounts payable from inbox to approved posting, close support, variance commentary and audit preparation, with accountants approving every posting and no autonomous payments.

AI agents for HR & people

A permission-aware HR helpdesk, onboarding that coordinates itself across IT, facilities and HR, and drafting agents for the paperwork, while every decision about a person stays with a person.

AI for strategy & leadership

Market intelligence that arrives as a weekly brief, board reporting that writes its own first draft and an assistant that knows your company, while judgement and decisions stay with the leadership team.

AI agents for legal & compliance

First-pass contract review, obligation tracking, regulatory monitoring and policy Q&A, with a lawyer approving everything that leaves the department.

AI agents for IT & software engineering

Service-desk agents, AI-assisted software delivery with review gates, incident triage and the integration layer that lets every other department's agents work.

AI agents for procurement

Request intake, RFQ drafting, quote comparison, supplier onboarding checks and spend analysis, with buyers approving every award and every order.

What every deployment has in common

i.

A baseline and a metric

Hours per case, cycle time, error rate, first-contact resolution, days sales outstanding. We measure before, and we measure after.

ii.

Humans where decisions are

Agents draft, sort, look up, prepare and execute the routine. People approve payments, sign contracts, make hiring decisions and handle what the agent flags.

iii.

Least-privilege access

Each agent gets exactly the read and write rights the workflow needs, with logging that lets you reconstruct every action.

iv.

Governance from day one

Risk classification, data-protection review and, in Germany, works-council involvement are handled inside the pilot, not after it.

v.

Operations after go-live

Monitoring, evaluations and model updates, so the workflow still works when the model provider ships a new version.

vi.

The team stays in charge

We train the process owners to read the agent's logs, adjust its instructions and decide when it needs help.

Frequently asked questions

Which department should a company start with?

Usually the one with the most volume of repetitive work and the clearest metric: customer service, order processing, accounts payable or sales development. But the deciding factor is often the person: a department head who wants it and will own it beats a theoretically better use case. Our readiness assessment ranks the candidates for your company.

Do agents replace employees?

In practice they remove tasks, not roles. The typical outcome is that a team handles more volume with the same people, spends its time on exceptions and relationships, and stops doing evening overtime on data entry. Where headcount effects are expected, we say so early and plan the change with HR and the works council.

Can one agent serve several departments?

Technically yes, and knowledge assistants often do. For workflow agents we recommend one clearly scoped agent per process at first. It is easier to evaluate, to permission and to explain. Shared components, such as connectors to your ERP via the Model Context Protocol, are reused across agents.

What if our department is not listed?

The patterns transfer. Product management, R&D, facilities, quality, sustainability reporting and public-sector functions all have the same kind of document- and communication-heavy workflows. Write to us and we will tell you what we have seen work.
